I'm getting a Sport. So I'm pulling those fugly plastic parts between the bumper and fenders. Then removing inner fenders. Then tires.

jkini, or the JT equivalent...a JTKini??

Gotta get that top off, but the sun fries my ginger a$$.
That’s a great first mod! Just installed a jkini on my jk and I have started to like it the more the top is off

I will be taking the plastic bumper off my JT and replacing it with a Warn winch plate and the Steel bumper from a JL Rubicon.

Oh man, I don't know if I'd even know where to start but I think my first mod or mods will be things that I already have - a CB BAR and an ACM to that I can talk to friends and air up my tires :)

512513Yesterday I got rid of the plastic stock front bumper in favor of the steel front bumper with end caps removed from a JL. I also went ahead and bolted on a Warn winch plate since I had it sitting there already. Sorry the only good picture I had of the front before the bumper swap is the picture my salesman sent me the day it came in. Gladiator plans for this week include installing the front components of EVO MFG 2.5" JL Boost with shock extensions so I can keep the Fox Rubicon shocks for now and see how they hold up to 37/12.50/17 Trail Grapplers on stock wheels with 2" wheel spacers. ( I know this is way out of what is recommended, just want to try it) Any comments on this setup? This will not be the final setup but just to have a better stance right now for a truly budget price. (I have the parts for the lift sitting in my garage). An actual suspension lift will be down the road, as well as a winch as soon as funds recover.

Looks good. I'm not a fan of the full length bumpers, never have been.

514Makeshift 2.5" leveling kit from EVO Mfg. parts was installed yesterday as well as 37x12.50r17 Trail Grapplers mounted on stock wheels with 2" wheel spacers. It looks like the rear is lower in this picture but it actually sits level. Driveway is just sloped.

Looks good. As far as the leveling kit, what's involved with the JT Gladiator in the rear being that the suspension is different than the JL? Did you have to do anything with the rear? Also, prior to the leveling kit, did the Jeep have a rake (lower in front)? Some pics I've seen look like front is lower and some look level.
