Knowing that the aftermarket will come out with several Jeep Gladiator Tonneau Covers, we made a final decision that we won't be ordering one from the factory. There are already a few out there. Anyone have feedback that has one? Pros/Cons ? I've got two in mind so far. The first one is WeatherTech but comes at a $$$$.

2020 Jeep Gladiator AlloyCover

The second one is:

Armis Soft Rolling Bed Cover; 2020 Gladiator JT with Trail Rail Cargo System

I'd really like a hard cover like that if only so that I can lock up my stuff. But like you said, it comes at a cost.

Those pull straps are prone to breaking. I have a love hate relationship with hard tonneau covers. I want a camper shell.

Would that work with a tent rank?

Depends on the rack. I was just looking into this the other day. I bet more manufacturers are going to make it happen. I noticed several systems that have racks that work with tonneau covers on other trucks. As far as the Gladiator, I think once aftermarket catches up, the possibilities will be much greater.

I have the factory cover and it`s very nice but knowing what i know now i would not have ordered the cover because i now plan on buying a rack.

I was at the Off Road Expo today and i saw zero after market covers let alone one that would function with a rack, this was one of my goals while attending the show. After talking to some vendors there seems to be little interest at this time to R&D a cover that will work with a rack , it will take the rack manufactures and cover manufactures working together.

I'm likely going to order the rugged ridge soft rolling tonneau cover. It leaves a decent amount of bed rail exposed. Then I'm going to build something custom for some other stuff.

I agree. Doubt a cover will work with a rack. The evo rack mounts to the inside of the bed so that is out.

I got the JCR rack, saw that video. The one they have looks a little cheap. Really just want to be able to keep everything locked up.
Have you looked at Rugged Ridge? They make 4 of them. However, 2 are folding style so I don't know if that would work with your rack.

I ended up going with the rugged ridge soft rolling tonneau cover. Overall I like it. Instructions were vague and it does not work if you don't have the factory trail rail system. I had to modify the rear brackets to make it work. The rails also don't sit as tight as I'd like on the bed caps. But it's very low profile.
